Lobby and office sign projects have more moving parts than exterior signs — there's the landlord, the property manager, the interior designer, and sometimes a general contractor. We've done this hundreds of times. Here's how we manage it.
Consultation
We learn your brand, your space, and your goals. We'll ask about your existing brand guidelines, your move-in or renovation timeline, and who else is involved in the project.
On-Site Visit
We visit the space in person. We measure walls, photograph the environment, assess wall construction (drywall, concrete, glass), note electrical access points, and speak with your property manager if needed.
Design & Rendering
We produce a photorealistic rendering of your lobby sign placed on your actual wall — so you can see exactly how it looks, at scale, before we fabricate a single piece. Unlimited revisions until it's perfect.
Approval & Coordination
We obtain any required landlord or building management approval. We coordinate with your GC or interior designer on installation timing. We handle any city permits required for illuminated signs.
Fabrication
Your sign is fabricated at our Irvine workshop. Premium materials, precise tolerances, full QC before the sign leaves our facility. You'll receive a production update when fabrication is complete.
Installation & Handoff
We install on-site with minimal disruption to your business. We handle all mounting, wiring, alignment, and cleanup. We do a final walkthrough with you before we consider the job done.

Do lobby signs require a permit?
Non-illuminated lobby signs (dimensional letters, acrylic panels, wall murals) typically do not require a city permit — however, landlord or building management approval is usually required. Illuminated signs (backlit, LED-lit) may require an electrical permit. We advise on permit requirements during your free consultation and manage any required approvals.
Can you match our existing brand colors and fonts exactly?
Yes — this is a core part of what we do. Send us your brand guidelines (Pantone colors, logo files, font specifications) and we will match them exactly in fabrication. We work with corporate clients and franchise operators regularly, and we understand the importance of brand consistency across locations.
How long does a lobby sign project take?
Most non-illuminated lobby sign projects are completed within 2–3 weeks from design approval: approximately 1–2 weeks for fabrication, plus installation scheduling. Illuminated signs requiring electrical permits may add 1–2 weeks. We work around your move-in or renovation schedule — tell us your deadline at the first consultation and we’ll build backward from it.

Absolutely — this is one of our most common project types. We’re experienced in working alongside general contractors and interior designers, coordinating installation timing around construction phases, and respecting finish-out schedules. We’ll need contact details for your GC and any relevant property management contacts. We handle the coordination from there.
